Advanced Web Guiding and Inspection Technologies by BST
Wenden, 04.08.2026 (PresseBox) - At LOUPE Americas 2026, BST North America will present solutions for 100% print inspection and web guiding that help converters increase production efficiency, reduce material waste, and lower operating costs throughout converting and finishing operations.
A key focus will be TubeScan with Digital Strobe 6K, BST's high-resolution 100% print inspection system. In addition to reliable defect detection across a wide range of substrates and print applications, TubeScan features Multiplex Illumination, enabling one-pass inspection with up to three illumination modes simultaneously. For digital printing applications, where multiple jobs can be processed on a single roll, TubeScan supports Dynamic Job Change, allowing inspection jobs to switch automatically without interrupting production.
Another highlight is BST's portfolio of web guiding technologies, including COMPACTGuide, CLS CAM 100, CLS CAM 200, AccuNET STO, and WideArray sensors. Live demonstrations will show how different guiding concepts?including web edge, web center, line, contrast, and object guiding?deliver precise web positioning across a wide range of substrates.
Visitors will also see how BST and AccuWeb web guiding systems can be operated through a central operator interface, simplifying operation of multiple guiding systems. Accurate web guiding helps improve register accuracy, reduce setup times, minimize web breaks, and lower material waste.
Together, these technologies demonstrate how integrated web guiding and print inspection can increase process reliability throughout the converting line.
